Fees

At Rising People Psychology, we aim to make our fees and charges clear and easy to understand. Our fees include face-to-face sessions, online psychology services, after-hours appointments, and NDIS support for Self-Managed and Plan-Managed clients. In addition, Medicare rebates may apply for eligible clients with a referral and Mental Health Care Plan.

Please note that the following fees do not include the $98.95 rebate.

You are entitled to a Medicare rebate of $98.95 in your face-to-face and online psychology sessions under the “Better access to mental health initiative” for up to 10 sessions per calendar year with a referral from your GP and a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).

Fees are charged well below the APS-recommended rate of $300 per 50min consult. Gap payments, meaning the out-of-pocket expenses after Medicare rebates have been adjusted to remain as affordable as possible. Patients on a mental health care plan can claim a rebate, as outlined above, up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Private health fund rebates may also apply, and individuals are encouraged to speak with their healthcare providers.
